Experience
James started his career as a personal trainer in 1998, and has worked in many different capacities in the fitness arena, including Personal Training Manager, Membership Director, and General Manager. He has worked with various organizations such as the YMCA, Gold’s Gym and Washington Sports Clubs just to name a few. During college, he participated as a Division 1 athlete in the areas of football and baseball. For the last fifteen years, he has coached football, from youth to college level and has trained athletes of all ages from youth to professionals in Sport Performance Training.
His goal is to help athletes become more explosive and athletic by training them to become more mobile, stronger and faster.
He strives to instill a healthy, sustainable lifestyle for every client, regardless of their fitness level and tailors his sessions based on each individual’s personal goals.
His training style is to teach, inspire and push his clients and athletes beyond their mental and physical limitations. He uses a variety of exercises, modalities, and training styles that keep his clients engaged, excited and focused on their goals. He believes in a slow approach to training, by building a stronger you from the inside out. Positive and encouraging words are some of the tools he uses to teach and motivate his clients to improve their quality of life. He is here to serve you!
